About our Lowell concrete contractor business
We build driveways, patios, steps and other concrete work for homeowners in Lowell and the cities around it. I come out to look at your job myself and explain what goes into your concrete before we pour.

Concrete work, explained before we pour
I ran a small landscaping company before this one, and the walks and patios were always the jobs I liked best. So I learned concrete under an experienced finisher and started Solid Form Lowell Concrete in Lowell in 2017. Today we're best known for driveways, patios and steps, and most of our calls come from homeowners, with some from small property owners and builders.
We're based in Lowell and work in the cities around it, on both sides of the New Hampshire line. A lot of the cracked, sinking driveways and patios we replace failed from underneath, because the dirt below was raked level instead of dug out and packed. That's why we put our effort into the base first, even though nobody sees it once the slab is poured.
Concrete is hard to undo once it's poured, so I want you to understand what you're paying for before we start. Running a business before this taught me that a clear answer to a simple question keeps more customers than any sales pitch. We're licensed and fully insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee.

How we run every concrete job
Dealing with the owner, start to finish
You deal with me from the first visit to the final walk-through, and our crew lead and finishers do the forming, pouring and finishing in between.
Mix, joints and pour timing explained
We walk you through the mix, the control joints that decide where a slab cracks, and when we'll pour, so you know what goes into your concrete and why.
Permits handled as the contractor
If your job needs a permit, we apply for it as the contractor and tell you which office is involved, after checking that city's rules for your job.
Written estimates you can compare
Our written estimates spell out what's included, so you can lay ours next to other quotes and compare fairly, and I'll answer your questions before you sign anything.
Concrete work, from driveways to steps
Concrete covers driveways, patios, walkways, steps, garage floors and foundations, so look through these examples to see what each kind of job looks like.
